Mimz & The Jae Bedford Band farewell concert

Mimz & Jae have officially announced they will be regrouping and moving to The capital city, Wellington.  Soon to be follwed by the bands bass player/Guitarist Peet Pholi.     Jae said "Dunedin has been good to me and we wish to leave in style and give their audience something they have never seen."   So on the 7th of November @ the illustrious Fortune Theatre they will perform a one off acoustic show with special guests, Including-Gary Moss, Vebka, Phil Corfield(The Troubadors) Bill Morris, The St Pauls Choir, Tim Blackler, Mahon & Jordon Redding and some special suprises.   The show will mostly be new songs from the forthcoming acoustic studio album 'Rock Bottom' and a couple of newer tracks from 'Telling stories with chords' and 'One night stand.   They promise this to be a 'Once in a life time concert', There will be no leaning on the old classics ie-One True Thing & 1/4 life crisis etc.    Jae says "Mimz & I are writing the strongest material of our carears and this show will be fresh and vibrant, we wont be needing the standard classic hits tracks".

 

Tickets will go on on sale October 15th support acts will be Vebka + Phil Corfield..

Tickets will cost $10 or $8 under typical concession conditions.

 

The setlist will include-

Beta Daze, Turning points, Alright, Otherside, Memories, Lie to me, Any other summer, Sorry, Nothing like the blues, Lonesome, One too many times & Heart of the matter.
